Spring Fest

A gorgeous day to celebrate the return of spring There are 8 Sabbats which make up the Wheel of the Year, and these herald from a time when people lived much more in connection with the land as farmers and nomads. It starts with the Winter Solstice, Yule, then following the solar energy through out the year observing seasonal shifts in natures energy and encourages us to reflect that in the way we live our lives. 

Ostara is the celebration of the Spring Solstice, the theme being REAWAKENING. As the days get longer and warmer, nature begins to bloom & the grounds bursts with the fruits & flowers of the seeds planted previously. This is a wonderful time to reconnect to your plans (seeds) you planted, take stock & put in place some care plans to ensure your growth in the coming months.  Lets join together for a day filled with mindful movement to clear any weeds, connection & gratitude to cultivate growth as we set ourselves to bloom.  

There will be a loose structure but will be plenty of freedom throughout the day.

* Celebrate the return of the sun with 108 sun salutations (you don't have to them all but it feels pretty great to try)

* Delicious 2 course plant-based lunch (hopefully in the garden)

* A walk in Nature, maybe a swim, gather natural materials to create a gift for the alter

* Afternoon Tea 

* Gentle flow into Yin & extended guided relaxation

* Goody bag to go
